 note = {The purpose of this study is to investigate grandchildren’s relationships with their grandparents. A questionnaire was administered to 76 female junior college students. They answered about shared experiences with their own living grandparents and the grandparental functions (“acceptance of existence”, “daily emotional support”, “time perspectives”, and “succession of generations”) perceived by grandchildren. As a result, female junior college students were shown to have more shared experiences with their grandmother than with their grandfather. And there is a correlation between grandparental functions and shared experiences.},
