The questionnaires were administered to college students every summer from 2021 to 2023 （N=278,275,272）. The five infection control measures focused on were wearing a mask, physical distancing, refraining from going outside, frequent ventilation, and vaccination. The main findings are as follows: 1） support for infection control measures was highest in 2021 for all measures and has declined since then; 2） significant differences in consensus　estimates between supporters and non-supporters of infection control measures were observed, confirming the occurrence of a false consensus effect （FCE）; 3） perceived likelihood of infection did not change much over the three-year period, but fear of infection and perceived severity of infection declined from 2021 to 2023.
