| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in experience interacting with young children and in actual communication between students with high and low self-efficacy for interacting with young children. First, the subjects answered the questionnaire concerned their self-efficacy for interacting with children and their previous experience interacting with young children. The results showed that students with high self-efficacy had more experience. Additionally, 15 students were asked to play with children. Their conversations during play were recorded and compared. The results showed that the high efficacy group had fewer pauses in conversation, fewer adult-like statements, and fewer abrupt questions. These results suggest that individuals with high efficacy maintain their communication with young children by focusing on play and engaging in conversation related to the play activities. | |||||||||||
