| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation of love styles in heterosexal intimate relationships and the size of interpersonal networks. One hundred and ninety-three female college students responded to a questionnaire asking about the six love styles based on Lee's theory (1977) and the size of interpersonal networks with male or female friends. Results showed (1) the network size of the students having a lover or a boyfriend was not smaller than that of the students who did not have such an intimate relationship (a mere friend or one-sided love), and (2) the score of Mania, a style of love, was negatively related to the network size with female (own sex) friends. These results suggest that although a heterosexal intimate relationship is not always closed or exclusive, it might become closed or exclusive when the romantic love feeling of Mania is too strong. | |||||||||
