We designed marker points to be displayed on a map based on geological excavations (disaster trace map) developed by the Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties. In the production process, we tried to improve the identification and visibility of the marker points based on a preliminary study on their legibility. Whether this design development can contribute to geological and disaster prevention research is a subject for further study. |
